All people who come to shoot at the club for the first time need to sign in as temporary members. This covers you for ‘come and try’ days and two more visits to see if you want to continue with the sport.
After three visits, you will need to join WBA as a probationary member and pay the appropriate fee. This lasts up to 3 months and at the end of this period, you continue as an ordinary member. However, all ordinary member must be members of ABA (Australia Bowhunters Association) as they are our governing body and provide our insurance, organise events etc. The ABA website can be found here.
You can join the club at any time of the year and your anniversary then becomes the same as your ABA membership signup date. The WBA membership form is found here .Membership Form
You can bring the membership form and payment out to the club on Sundays, or email it to this address and pay by internet banking.
We are now able to accept Queensland Govt. ‘Get Started’ vouchers. This Grant covers Wide Bay Archers and Australian Bowhunters Assn membership fees and 20 free shoots. These grants are limited so see the link above for applications dates and more information.
